Welcome back!
We'll start this page off with a biggie, the reciever sides polished at last.
Gone are all the scratch marks left from the previous attempt, although there are some small pits left from rust that just cannot be removed. 
No more ripples from fingers done on the earlier sanding.
You can see by the reflection that there is just a flat smooth finish.
Then came the barrel...
Flat spots all through the length of it from sanding either by hand or with a block down the length instead of around.

Here it is being test fitted and inspected after polishing.
You can see the major pitting in the slider that is too deep to take out, luckily it will be covered by the pump grip.  
Next step is to get the new wood shaped up and fitted, wouldnt want to try all this work on a freshly blued gun.
